Course Goal(s):

In this workshop, veteran Achieve3000 Solutions teachers review some of the basics of the program, work with the new features, participate in a question-and-answer session, and leave the session prepared to start using the program successfully.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the Achieve3000 pedagogy.
  • Recognize how the solutions develop student literacy skills.
  • Recognize how the Common Core standards are supported in the Five-Step Literacy Routine.
  • Replicate the student’s experience with the Five-Step Literacy Routine.
  • Identify additional differentiation features in Special Editions.
  • List key steps and considerations for administering LevelSet.
  • Ensure class setup is accurate.
  • Locate reports to monitor student work.
  • Explain how to award achievement points and badges.
  • Use Search and Assign to customize content.
  • Locate the Content Preview e-mail for pre-planning.
  • Attend Online PD.
  • Explain the options in Home Connections for communicating with parents/guardians.

Prerequisite Training:

This training is for schools that plan to purchase Acheive3000 content.
